RCommunity, powered by GivePulse, enables nonprofits, community organizations, and university clubs to plan and coordinate events and service initiatives, and to track engagement and outcomes. As part of a network of volunteers and community organizations, Rutgers uses RCommunity to monitor student involvement in the community, facilitate community relationships, and track community engagement.
The RCommunity integration for Canvas is only available for Rutgers courses that are
- REGIS-coded courses offered through Banner are not eligible to use the integration.
- Designated as Engaged Civic Learning (ECL) or Experiential Learning (XPL) courses in the Rutgers Schedule of Classes.
- The original course site, created by automated processes. Sites with multiple sections (cross-listed or merged sections) or Mirror Sites cannot use the integration.
