Rutgers.eduRutgers Canvas will undergo scheduled maintenance to upgrade the Canvas SCORM component and support the latest functionality. This maintenance will be completed in two phases and will temporarily affect access to SCORM content.
Maintenance Schedule
The maintenance is scheduled during the following time windows:
- Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM ET (April 11)
- Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM ET (April 25)
Expected Impact
- Canvas SCORM will be unavailable during each maintenance window.
- Students: You will be unable to complete some Canvas assignments.
- Instructors: You will be unable to create new Canvas assignments with the SCORM player.
- All other Canvas tools and functionality will remain available.
What should I do?
If you have a course activity that uses SCORM content:
- Plan to complete it before or after the maintenance window.
- Avoid scheduling deadlines during these times if possible.
Please note that this maintenance applies to a single Canvas component and does not affect all Canvas assignments.
