Oxford Insight by Oxford University Press (OUP) is a guided and curated learning environment from Oxford University Press (OUP) designed for higher education, integrating high-quality e-book content with interactive media, graded assessments, and actionable analytics.
Oxford Insight features and benefits include:
- Engagement through active learning: Courses are organized into sections that map to clear learning objectives. Each section includes the e-book, relevant media resources, formative activities, and practice self-assessment.
- Dashboard: For students, it brings elements such as due assignments, current grades, messages from their instructor, and the course table of contents. For instructors, it provides a snapshot of assignments that need grading, current student performance, and a calendar view of assignments and due dates.
- Customization: Instructors have the ability to customize any existing quiz or create a quiz from scratch. The changes made and customized are saved and maintained across semesters, saving future prep time.
- Study Center: The Study Center is student-driven. The Study Center recommends sections that each student should review further based on their unique performance on the chapter assessments and the time they spent in the reading.
- Reporting & Insights: Robust analytics for instructors to monitor student engagement and performance, enabling early identification of at-risk students and data-driven intervention.
