Each legacy system requires a data retention plan that aligns with University policy (5 years) and to address unit specific needs such as contested grades, accreditation, and instructor evaluations. In addition, content from courses that are not migrated to Canvas, but are requested to be archived by units or instructors will need to be stored off the LMS.
This working group will gather requirements around data retention and content archiving, work with vendors, and develop plans to present to the steering committee.
