Some Rutgers Canvas users who log in with a Rutgers NetID may receive an error. NetID users with a valid account are directed to the Canvas User Not Found page. The root cause has been identified as slow connections between the Rutgers Central Authentication System (CAS) and a third-party hosting service. This issue may continue to affect users.
To log into Canvas, users may try the following:
- Attempt to log in multiple times, using a different browser or using an incognito or private browsing window.
- Clear cache and cookies. Users who prefer may selectively delete cookies for idps.rutgers.edu and cas.rutgers.edu.
