Rutgers.eduRutgers MediaSpace and the Kaltura integration in Canvas are experiencing a technical issue affecting the playback of audio-only entries in Kaltura. Media owners should continue to upload entries to Kaltura.
As a temporary solution, users can upload audio files to Box and share content via the Box integration in Rutgers Canvas. Rutgers University has an enterprise license for Box. To get started, please create your account. Enable Box in your course navigation. To add files to a Canvas page, discussion, or announcement, using the Rich Content Editor, click on the More External Tools icon and select Box. Use the dialog to share a file with your course. You can also add Box files to Modules by clicking on “external tool.”
Rutgers IT is working with Kaltura to resolve this issue.
