Canvas Attendance (Roll Call) Maintenance Event Starting on July 2, 2026

Rutgers Canvas will conduct scheduled maintenance for the Canvas (Roll Call) Attendance tool to upgrade the database and operating system. This maintenance lasts four hours and will temporarily affect access to the Attendance tool in your course navigation.

Maintenance Schedule

The maintenance is scheduled during the following time:

  • EDT – Thursday, July 2, 2026, 12 AM – 4 AM
  • PDT – Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 9 PM – Thursday, July 2, 2026, 1 AM
  • UTC – Thursday, July 2, 2026, 4 AM – 8 AM

Expected Impact

  • Canvas Attendance will be unavailable during each maintenance window. Instructors will be unable to record attendance.
  • All other Canvas tools and functionality will remain available.
