Scheduled Downtime to affect access to Pearson products on December 20, 2025

Pearson has scheduled a downtime for planned maintenance on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM ET (Click here to find out when you’ll be affected.). This planned maintenance is necessary to improve performance and security.

All MyLab, MyLabsPlus, Mastering, Revel, eText, Learning Catalytics, Statcrunch, and Pearson+ products will be impacted. During this time, instructors and students will not be able to perform any of the following actions:

  • Sign in or access your courses.
  • Create or copy courses.
  • Sync grades with your learning management system (LMS).

Students will not be able to purchase, redeem access codes for, register for, or enroll in courses, nor will instructors be able to do so on their behalf.

Users attempting to access courses during the maintenance window will be presented with a splash page that explains Pearson is conducting maintenance. If the course is integrated into Canvas, users will most likely see an error message stating that the course cannot be found.

Messages will also be posted on the Pearson System Status.
