Rutgers.eduPer previous announcements, deprecated external apps and updates to existing external apps have occurred in Rutgers Canvas. The following updates have been made:
- Matlab Grader: As previously announced, a new version of Matlab Grader LTI was installed on February 24, 2024. Instructors should pair their Canvas assignments to MATLAB and Simulink Online Courses LTI 1.3. The existing integration, MATLAB Coding Problem (deprecated), has been removed.
- Cidilabs’s DesignPlus: As previously announced, Cidilab’s DesignPlus was upgraded on August 18, 2023. As part of the planned release of the new Sidebar, DesignPlus Sidebar now defaults to the new version. User may toggle the Sidebar to the legacy version. On December 31, 2024, Cidilabs will remove the legacy Sidebar.
- VoiceThread: As previously announced, VoiceThread has been upgraded to the new user experience. Please review information on highlights and changes of the new VoiceThread.
- Hawkes Learning: Hawkes Learning external app has been removed from Rutgers Canvas.
