Rutgers.eduKaltura has announced the end of support of CaptureSpace. This desktop application is used to record videos, webcam and screen presentations, and upload videos to MediaSpace; this application is replaced by Kaltura Personal Capture. Kaltura Personal Capture is currently available in MediaSpace and the Canvas, Sakai, and Moodle integrations of Kaltura from the “Add New” menu. Please update any documentation that you share with your students and direct them to use Kaltura Personal Capture.
Starting May 20, 2019, CaptureSpace will no longer be available for download and installation. Existing users may continue to use the application to record and upload content to MediaSpace. In June 2019, Kaltura CaptureSpace will no longer allow video upload. Users will have to manually upload recorded presentations.
