Rutgers.eduDespite the release of a patch for PlayPosit on August 29, 2024, grades from completed PlayPosit assignments are not passed to the Canvas Gradebook. The Rutgers Canvas admins are working with PlayPosit developers and support to determine the circumstances that cause failure and what the best method for resolution. Rutgers Canvas is advising all course instructors to:
- Remove module requirements that prevent student progression. (See How do I add requirements to a module?)
- Manually add grades to the Canvas gradebook.
- With large classes, this may not be ideal. You may manually export PlayPosit Grades and export Rutgers Canvas Gradebook.
- Copy and paste the PlayPosit grades into the downloaded Canvas Gradebook file.
- Assignment grades may be imported manually to the Canvas gradebook.
- If students have not attempted the assignment, create a new external app assignment. (See Assign a Graded Bulb in Canvas.)
- You will be required to make a bulb copy.
- Delete the old assignment without student submissions.
