Issues with Canvas (Assign-To, Accommodations)

Instructors that have used the Assign-to function to allow specific students to complete Assignments, Discussions or Quizzes at different dates/times from the rest of the class such as for an accommodation or make-up exam may have noticed that these assignments or accommodation settings have been removed after restoring Canvas rosters from the event over the weekend. This may affect assignments completed in the past or future. If this affects your course, we recommend that:

  1. Instructors manually reassign any Assignment, Discussion or Quizzes that were individually assigned.  See How do I assign an assignment to an individual student?

If the assignment or accommodation has been restored successfully, you should see any grades that were missing reappear in the course gradebook.
