All existing reading lists should work automatically with the new standards. Course navigation links will need to be updated and may have to be moved from the bottom of your course navigation. Please see the instructions for managing your course navigation links for details on how to restore and move the link in navigation. You can also use the link validation tool in Canvas to automatically check that the links in your course content reference the new Reading List app.
