Canvas: Google Apps Maintenance event on May 1, 2020

Google Apps LTI

Instructure, the parent company of Canvas, will be performing maintenance on the Google Apps LTI in Rutgers Canvas on Friday, May 1, 2020, starting at 3 AM ET (7 AM UTC; click here to find out when you’ll be affected). Instructure will be performing maintenance over a one hour period of time. Rutgers users will not be able to access Google Apps for the duration of the maintenance window.

During this one-hour period, users will not be able to:

  • Use Collaborations.
  • Access Google LTI documents post in Canvas
  • Submit assignments via the Google tab.

It is recommended that instructors change assignment due dates so they fall outside of the maintenance event.
