Rutgers.eduRutgers Canvas is pleased to announce the release of Respondus Live Proctoring, which allows instructors to enhance the integrity of online exams by monitoring exam sessions with the use of Respondus LockDown Browser and an online meeting such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Instructors may proctor their students in real-time as they take online assessments through Canvas Quizzes while limiting students’ browser activity with Respondus LockDown Browser.
This is recommended for small courses of less than 20 students to allow instructors to monitor students closely. When Live Proctoring is enabled, student video is not processed by Respondus Monitor. It is highly recommended that a practice exam be offered to ensure everything works correctly for both the instructor and the students.
