Rutgers Canvas is pleased to announce the integration of MathWorks self-paced online training courses that allows students to learn MATLAB and Simulink at their own pace. MATLAB®, Simulink®, Stateflow®, and Simscape™ are tools for designing systems, simulating their behavior in an environment, and automatically generating code that can be deployed to hardware. This training covers the basics of working with MATLAB and Simulink as well as intermediate and advanced techniques that address complex workflows and niche applications. Benefits of these online courses include:
- Hands-on coding exercises directly in MATLAB and Simulink
- Assessments while you code
- Access from anywhere through your web browser
- Sharable progress and completion credentials (grades passed to Canvas automatically)
- The option to explore individual lessons, short courses, or full learning paths
- A wide range of available topics, including data analysis, image and signal processing, modeling, and simulation; new topics are added every few months. See what content is in the Online Training Suite
- Flexibility to try new things and build your skills over time
Rutgers University has an enterprise license for MATLAB by MathWorks, including MATLAB Online. Details are available in the Rutgers Software Portal for MathWorks MATLAB & Simulink. Course instructors will need to activate their MathWorks account and log in using their netid@rutgers.edu email address to use single sign-on.
