Starting Fall 2023 semester, RBHS course sites in Canvas will include all instructors assigned in the Banner.
Important things to consider about this change:
- Canvas will be synced with Meeting Times and Instructors in Banner. The primary instructor and other users assigned will be added to the Canvas site with the Teacher role.
- Teachers and sub-account admins will not be able remove users synced by Banner. If an incorrect Instructor was added, that user will need to be removed in Banner to be taken out of the Canvas site.
- There are no limits on how many Teachers can be added to a Canvas site. Note that students will see the multiple instructors when the course is published.
If you are teaching in the upcoming term and do not recognize another “Teacher” in your course, please contact your department’s Registrar Administrator to review.
