Rutgers.eduAt 8:43 AM EST, Instructure identified increased page view errors which affected features such as SpeedGrader and DocViewer, which allows users to view linked documents in-line in Canvas. Users received 502/503 errors or “Service is currently unavailable. Try again later.” messages when accessing content in Docviewer. Canvas Engineering team implemented a fix to resolve these issues at 10:39 AM ET and the issue was resolved at 12:13 PM ET. Docviewer issues persisted and a fix was implemented at 1:34 PM ET. Canvas status page was updated at 2:51 PM ET when all lingering issues were resolved. Thank you for your patience as we worked throughout the day to resolve this issue.
