Feature Release: Voicethread Assignments

Rutgers Canvas is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Voicethread New Assignments. To minimize disruption to Summer Session courses, Rutgers Canvas will enforce the feature upgrade on May 14, 2021 at 4 PM (ET).  This update offers a number of new features and streamlined workflows including:

  • A streamlined interface
  • More control for instructors
  • Editable assignments
  • Students can add slides to a commenting assignment
  • A “student gallery” so students can easily see classmates’ VoiceThreads
  • Better feedback for students

Anyone using an LTI integration in Canvas can use the new assignments features now for their courses prior to May 14, 2021.
