Rutgers.eduRutgers Canvas is pleased to announce that Hypothesis, a collaborative annotation app, now supports Canvas sections. Previously, if a Canvas course site contained more than one section, all annotations were visible to all participants regardless of section membership. With section support, Hypothesis now ensures that student annotations are shared with members in the same section. Instructors and TAs will participate in annotations separately. This is to ensure students are not overwhelmed with many annotations.
For assignments in courses with only one section, the annotation experience has not changed. Please see Hypothesis resource: Annotating with Sections in Canvas for more details.
