Scheduled Downtime to affect access to Pearson products on October 26, 2019

Pearson has scheduled a downtime for planned maintenance on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 1 AM ET to 9 AM ET (Click here to find out when you’ll be affected.). This planned maintenance is necessary for improve performance and security.

ALL MyLab, MyLabsPlus, Mastering, Modified Mastering, Learning Studio, Revel, eText, Learning Applications, Pearson Writer, Pearson Reader, Statcrunch, Coachmarks, Feedback, Registrar Reports, and Lever courses will be impacted. During this time, instructors and students will not be able to perform any of the following actions:

  • Sign in or access your courses.
  • Create or copy courses.
  • Sync grades with your learning management system (LMS).

Students will not be able to purchase, redeem access codes for, register for, or enroll in courses, nor will instructors be able to do so on their behalf.

Users who try to access courses during the maintenance window will see a splash page explaining that Pearson is conducting maintenance. If the course is integrated in Canvas, users will most likely see an error to the effect that the course cannot be found.

Pearson will post in-product messages 72 hours prior to the October 26th event. However, if users access Pearson content through Canvas, users will not see these alerts.

Messages will also be posted to Twitter, @PearsonSupport, and on the Pearson Support webpage.
