CidiLabs DesignPlus is a tool that cuts down time develop content within a Canvas course by allowing users to rapidly create and style modules and pages. DesignPlus improves the quality, consistency, and accessibility of Canvas courses and lets users build them in half the time. Educators will learn how to:
- Build engaging, visually consistent content
- Improve accessibility as you design
- Save time with templates and reusable elements
Educators will see tools like DesignPLUS’s Quickstart Wizard that give them a head start by providing customizable templates and content blocks directly inside the Canvas editor.
Here is the 5-day DesignPLUS Learning Plan:
June 22, 2026: Day 1 – Getting Started with DesignPLUS: Start with a tour of the Quick Start Wizard and the DesignPLUS Sidebar. Then, explore the basics of building content from scratch using Themes and Content Blocks.
June 23, 2026: Day 2 – Elevating Canvas Content: See how to transform and elevate existing Canvas content with the DesignPLUS Sidebar, and how to utilize our awesome, built-in Accessibility Checkers.
June 24, 2026: Day 3 – Adding Interactivity: Transform the learner experience with interactive content and exercises! And get real data on which concepts are landing for your students and which are not.
June 25, 2026: Day 4 – Course Building With Templates: Learn how to utilize Templates in DesignPLUS to make content building a breeze and see how the Multi-Tool can help you quickly scaffold out an entire course’s Module structure.
June 26, 2026: Day 5 – Course-Level Customizations: Discover the joys of course-level customizations, with your own custom Content Blocks, Quick Styles, Snippets, Icon Categories, and Themes!
